Known around here as the Packing Aficionado, Aunt Bella inspects every single package with eagle-eye precision. If it leaves the Frugal Teacher’s shop, it passed Bella’s tough-as-nails standards — crisp, cute, and perfectly FrugalFam-approved!
But don’t let her organized side fool you… this woman is a wildcard in the best way. She’s a proud mom of three girls, a fun-loving grandma to three boys, and when she’s not packing orders at lightning speed, she’s probably: Running the pool table like a shark, outsinging anybody brave enough to challenge her, and turning any boring moment into a full-on party.
If you ever want to spice things up during a live show, just tell her,

Coming in as child 7 of 8, Matthew may not always be the one in front of the camera, but make no mistake — nobody knows sports quite like he does.
He’s the silent force behind “ResElle with Elle” and “PrimeTime Paul,” feeding them the names of your favorite teams, players, and matchups with sniper-level accuracy. If they sound sharp on camera…it’s because Matthew whispered the stats.
A true gentle giant, Matthew has a calm presence that makes the whole shop feel steadier. He’s thoughtful, loyal, and genuinely has a heart of pure gold.
When he’s not behind the camera calling out sports teams like a human ESPN database, you can usually find him:

Mykaela, Crowd Go-To and Chatty Cathy
If the Frugal Teacher is the heart of the family, Mykaela is the glue that holds everyone together. As the second oldest sibling, child 2 of 8, she has perfected the art of keeping the entire FrugalFam in line — with love, honesty, and just the right amount of sisterly attitude.
Mykaela is a brand-new mama to her sweet little boy, Alexander, and she brings that same nurturing energy into the shop. Around here, she’s known as “The Keeper.”

When Alyssa isn’t running her own Whatnot shop or designing handcrafted bamboo pieces, she’s a powerhouse mod for ResElle with Elle and Primetime Paul. She’s the steady presence behind the scenes — the one keeping the chat running smoothly, spotting issues before anyone else does, and making sure every show feels fun, safe, and welcoming.
She knows the rules, knows the flow, and knows how to keep a room energized. If there’s a fire to put out, she’s already handled it before most people even notice something’s off. That’s Alyssa — fast, reliable, and fiercely protective of the people she supports.

Patrick is the guy who shows up, works hard, and never complains — the one everyone relies on even if he stays out of the spotlight.
Whether he’s double-checking inventory, lifting boxes twice his size, or sliding across the warehouse floor in his signature Crocs, Patrick brings calm, consistency, and a whole lot of heart to the FrugalFam.

Dad is, without question, the hardest worker we know (aside from mom). With 8 kids, 2 grandkids, and a life full of projects, he somehow manages to be everywhere at once — supporting each of us in our business ventures while running his own company with the same quiet strength he’s always had.
Whether it’s business advice, a late-night pep talk, or showing up with tools in hand, Dad is the one who gets things done. And now, he’s bringing that same unstoppable drive to The Frugal Teacher resale shop. From digging through pallet finds to hunting down the best bargains, he’s the steady hand behind the scenes that keeps everything moving.
Dad wears many hats — father, grandfather, business owner, problem solver, peacemaker, and now, resale expert — but his greatest role has always been being our rock. He’s the kind of man who will never leave you hanging, who makes sure everyone is taken care of, and who believes in his family more fiercely than anything else.

Max, the Littlest of the Family, with the Biggest Heart
Max is child 8 of 8, the grand finale, the last piece that made the McNorton family puzzle complete. Don’t let his size fool you — he’s the littlest with the biggest heart, overflowing with love, energy, and a spark that keeps everyone smiling.
Smart as a whip and endlessly curious, Max will question you, challenge you, and keep you on your toes every single day. He’s athletic, quick on his feet, and — let’s be honest — better than you at video games, no matter how confident you are.
With a personality full of laughter and a heart that hugs you without even trying, Max brings the joy, the chaos, and the perfect finishing touch to the family. He’s the loudest cheerleader, the fastest runner, the sharpest thinker, and the tiniest tornado of love.
